Al Maktoum Arrivals Information
Al Maktoum International Airport is open for business and if you’re going to be one of the first arrivals you’ll need some guidance on getting around the airport for all is not as it seems for now.
The airport is billed as being the biggest in the world but at the moment it’s actually quite small but with big plans. Three terminals will form the complex but for now only one is open.
Eventually there will be two luxury terminals, one dedicated solely to Emirates but for now, the as yet un-named or numbered budget terminal is the only one that’s operational.
It’s capable of handling 7 million passengers per year and has 64 remote stands on a long concourse. Several of the stands take the huge Airbus A380 which lands on its own runway dedicated to the terminal.
